Message From 2024 Club President Dave Roberts

It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to our 20th Beer Festival.

The Festival has become a major focus in the Rainhill social calendar with last year’s event raising over £25,000 for charitable causes within our community.

This year we have again selected a wide variety of ales, ciders, lagers, prosecco & gin for you to enjoy and we have food available…..something we hope for everyone.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have sponsored the event and all the volunteers and friends of our Club who give of their time willingly and freely and without whom we simply could not run the Festival.

I would like to thank the Beer Festival Committee for all the many hours of hard work over the past months.

Finally, a big thank you to you for coming along and supporting what is now one of the largest community events in our area. Your presence will ensure that we can help many more charitable organisations and worthy causes.

So all that remains is for me to wish you well …..please enjoy the festival!

A note from the Beer Festival Chairman 2024

Organising our beer selection for the Rainhill Beer Festival is no small task; it involves countless hours of hard work and of course, a bit of tasting!

We pride ourselves on curating an exceptional line-up, including some beloved festival favourites that are a hit year after year.

Our team strives to feature a variety of the year’s award-winning beers. However, securing these can be challenging due to their high demand and, in many cases, their limited production.

Some of these outstanding brews are crafted in small batches, making them rare finds. To ensure a diverse offering, we aim to present a mix of styles: light, dark, mild, stouts, and an increasing selection of vegan-friendly and gluten-free options.

Our strong relationships with numerous breweries and head brewers are invaluable. These connections grant us early access to new, seasonal, and unique beers.

We are fortunate to have 2-3 specialists with extensive connections across the country, enabling us to source beers that might otherwise be unavailable in our region. This network ensures we can always provide high-quality beers at great prices, which is crucial for our charity event.

If you have any favourite beers we’ve yet to feature or if you know of any brewers we should connect with, please let us know.

Your input helps us continue to improve and offer an outstanding festival experience.

Cheers,

Dave
